My eye doctor told me that my ability to see color is better than most people in the world, and that me eyes actually got stronger. He said that’s rare/weird since people in my profession usually have their eyes get weaker over time due to all the stress they put on them. He also told me I’m perfect for graphic design because of how good the rods and cones in my eyes are. 

While waiting we were also talking about cuisine with this other guy waiting to be seen. At times like that I realize I really am a foody. Discussing Mexican, Cuban and Puerto Rican cuisine with him was cool. It’s interesting to see what people who aren’t Latino think of our food.
